“Welcome Home(Sanitarium)” te lasa,inca din titlu cu un nod in gat.Melodia cu numarul 4 de pe albumul Master of Puppets lansat pe 3 Martie 1986 si pe care orice fan al oricariu gen de muzica,de oriunde in lumea asta ar trebui sa il asculte,este inspirata din romanul “Zbor deasupra unui cuib de cuci”(One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest),despre care filozoful William Irwin spune ca este cea mai “aproape de realitate” melodie compusa de Metallica pe aceasta tema-bolile mentale si starile prin care trece un pacient inchis intr-un astfel de centru.

Master of Puppet este cel de-al 3-lea album al trupei,primul lansat printr-o casa de discuri mare si ultimul pe care il putem auzi si pe Cliff Burton.Albumul ramane atat in viziunea fanilor cat si a cristicilor,unul dintre cele mai bune materiale Thrash/Heavy Metal lansate vreodata,fiind premiat cu numar full de stele din partea mai marilor publicatii de muzica.In 2003 albumul era premiat cu platina pe 6.000.000 copii vandute doar pe teritoriul Statelor Unite.

Si cum la sfarsit de postare muzicala,obisnuiesc intotdeauna sa-mi impartasesc experienta/istoricul cu melodia respectiva,despre “Welcome Home(Sanitarium)”nu pot decat sa spun ca a fost al 3-lea cantec semnat Metallica pe care l-am ascultat vreodata si,chiar si acum,cand trebuie sa iau cod-ul unui clip cu melodia de pe YouTube,inca nu pot sa-l mai ascult,imi induce o anumita stare pe care probabil doar filmul Requiem for a Dream,vazut in repetate randuri a mai reusit sa mi-o induca,te simti efectiv rau daca asculti verusrile cu atentie si incerci sa empatizezi(bine,nu trebuie sa te straduiesti prea mult,o va face cantecul pentru tine)cu povestea,deja nu mai esti bun de nimic.
